Ethnorêma has launched a new project to support children, women, and families living in the Qoshe landfill in the Kore district of Addis Ababa.
The project particularly wants to help children who have been unable to go to school because they were engaged in collecting materials from the dump with remedial classes for re-entry into the national school system. Each child is also offered two meals a day for five days a week, clothing, health care assistance and psychological support.
